Director of Student Ministries
Status: Full-Time
Compensation: $35,000 - $45,000 (dependent upon education and experience)
The Director of Student Ministries provides spiritual leadership, vision, coordination, and oversight for ministries serving children and youth from birth through 12th grade. This position is responsible for developing a comprehensive discipleship pathway that helps children, students, and families grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ while fostering meaningful connections within the church community.
The Director serves as an advocate for children, youth, and families by creating engaging opportunities for worship, discipleship, fellowship, service, and outreach.

Contemporary Worship Leader
Status: Part-Time (10+/- hours/week)
Compensation: $12,000/year
Pineville First UMC currently offers a blended worship service and is working toward relaunching a dedicated contemporary worship service. The Contemporary Worship Director will lead musically within the current blended service, collaborate closely with the Traditional Music Director, and lay the groundwork (team, systems, and culture) needed to relaunch a thriving contemporary service in the future.
This is a builder role. The right person is as comfortable leading from a stage today as they are recruiting and discipling a team for tomorrow.

Nursery Worker
Status: Part-Time (3-6 hours/week)
Compensation: $12.00/hour
The Nursery Worker provides a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for infants and toddlers while parents and guardians attend services and groups. This role provides attentive supervision, age-appropriate care, and strict adherence to check-in and check-out procedures to protect every child in our care.
Sundays: 8:30am - 11:30am ; Wednesdays 5:30pm-7:30pm
Qualifications
- At least [18] years of age.
- Previous childcare experience preferred.
- Must pass a background check and complete child safety training.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Dependable, patient, and warm, with a genuine love for young children.
