Adults Ministries

Grow in Faith.
Grow in Community.

Find Community

You're Not Meant to Do Life Alone

At Pineville First United Methodist Church, we believe spiritual growth happens best in community. Small groups and classes create space for people to study Scripture, ask questions, pray together, and build lasting friendships.

No matter your age or stage of life, we invite you to get connected and discover a group where you can belong and grow.

Sunday School Classes

Ages 18-35.  Young Adult Sunday School; class decides what we will study, sometimes we study by authors of Bible Studies.  Sometimes we read through books of the Bible and discuss them as a class.

Classes Leaders: Ritchie & Denise Martin

Ages 30-75+ Mixed.  Discuss Video Studies with a wide range of topics.  Leader: Pat Bennett

Bible Studies that are enlightening using UMC curriculum.  Leader:  Nancy Baker

Grow deeper in your faith through weekly Sunday School classes designed to encourage biblical learning, meaningful discussion, and authentic community.

Classes are available for adults in various stages of life and spiritual growth. Whether you're new to church or have been studying Scripture for years, you'll find a welcoming group ready to connect with you.

Class 46:10 is inspired by Psalm 46:10: “Be still and know that I am God.” In today’s busy world, we all need time to slow down, be still, and connect with one another and with God.

Our class explores a variety of topics chosen by the group, ranging from addiction and recovery to Bible studies and book discussions. Books by Adam Hamilton have been especially popular.

We are a welcoming group of people from many different backgrounds and age groups. We invite you to come and see what we're all about—we would love to have you join us!
