Children's Ministry

Helping Kids Know, Love, and Serve God

Helping Kids Grow in Faith and Community

At Pineville First United Methodist Church, your child's spiritual journey is our priority. Our Children’s Ministry provides a secure, engaging space where kids learn about God's love through hands-on activities, prayer, and lessons tailored just for them.

Led by Claire Walker and a dedicated team of adult volunteers, we focus on teaching kindness, service, and building a personal connection with Jesus.

We also love celebrating community together through seasonal events like our Easter Eggstravaganza, Summer Wacky Wednesdays, Fall Festival, Milk & Cookies with Santa, and Happy Birthday Jesus Party.

Kids Belong Here

A Place for Every Child

Children are not just the future of the church — they are an important part of the church today. We love seeing kids worship alongside their families, participate in church life, and grow in their understanding of God's love.

Our ministry is designed to help children feel welcomed, valued, and encouraged as they grow spiritually and build meaningful relationships.

Sunday Mornings

Children's Sunday School

Sundays at 10:00 AM

Children are invited to join us each Sunday at 10:00 AM for age-appropriate Bible lessons, activities, and opportunities to grow in faith together.

Our Sunday School classes provide a caring and engaging environment where children can learn about God, ask questions, and build friendships with other kids and leaders.

Worship & Midweek Ministry

Helping Kids Grow in Faith Together

From Sunday worship to Wednesday Night Live, children are encouraged to participate, belong, and grow as an active part of our church family.

At Pineville First United Methodist Church, we encourage children to attend and remain in worship services with their families. We believe kids learn by participating in worship and experiencing the life of the church alongside the congregation.

Seeing children present in worship is not a distraction — it is a blessing. We love having families worship together as we seek God as one church family.

Children are also invited to participate in Wednesday Night Live, our weekly Wednesday evening ministry designed to help families stay connected and grow in faith together.

Through activities, fellowship, Bible teaching, and community, kids experience a fun and encouraging environment where they can continue learning about God's love throughout the week.

Time: Wednesdays from 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM
